Author Guidelines
Authors are invited to submit original manuscripts to Tekno Medika: Medical Laboratory Technology. Manuscripts must be written in clear and concise English and comply with the following guidelines.
Types of Manuscripts
The journal accepts the following types of manuscripts:

Method Development and Validation Articles
Manuscript Preparation

Manuscripts should be prepared using Microsoft Word.

The text should be typed in Times New Roman, 12-point font, with 1.5 line spacing.

Page size: A4 with standard margins.
-
Manuscripts should be written in English.
Manuscript Structure
Title Page
-
Title of the manuscript (concise and informative).
-
Full names of all authors without academic titles.
-
Author affiliations and corresponding author’s email address.
Abstract
-
Maximum 250 words.
-
Structured abstract for research articles (Background, Methods, Results, Conclusion).
-
Include 3–5 keywords.
Main Text
For Original Research Articles, the manuscript should include:

Introduction

Materials and Methods
-
Results
-
Discussion
-
Conclusion
Review articles and case reports may use different structures as appropriate.
Tables and Figures
-
Tables and figures should be numbered consecutively.
-
Each table and figure must have a clear title and caption.
-
Images should be of high resolution and properly labeled.
References

References should be written using the Vancouver style.
-
At least 80% of references should be from peer-reviewed journals published within the last 10 years.

Use reference management software (e.g., Mendeley, Zotero) when possible.
Ethical Considerations

Research involving human subjects must include a statement of ethical approval.

Informed consent must be obtained when applicable.

Authors must declare any conflicts of interest.
Plagiarism Policy

All manuscripts are screened for plagiarism.
-
The maximum acceptable similarity index is ≤20%, excluding references.
Submission Process

Manuscripts must be submitted online through the journal submission system.

Authors should follow the submission steps provided on the website.
Copyright and Licensing

Authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right to publish the article.

Articles are published under an open-access license as specified by the journal.
