DHARMA: Dedikasi Riset Manajemen dan Inovasi is an open-access journal. All articles published in this journal may be read, downloaded, copied, distributed, printed, searched, linked to, stored, or used for any lawful purpose without financial, legal, or technical barriers, except for those unavoidable to access the Internet.
This publication ethics statement is based on the Indonesian National Institute of Sciences (LIPI) Regulation No. 5 of 2014 concerning the Code of Ethics for Scientific Publication. The journal upholds the following ethical principles:
Morality: Authors must distinguish between right and wrong behavior in writing.
Scientific Integrity: Uphold the principles, essence, and truth of science without compromising them for any purpose.
Neutrality: Maintain independence and avoid conflicts of interest in publication management.
Fairness: Give proper authorship credit to those who contribute.
Honesty: Avoid duplication, fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism (DF2P) in publication.
Unpublished materials in submitted manuscripts must not be used by editors in their own research without written permission from the author. Authors must disclose any financial or other conflicts of interest that could influence the results or interpretation of their work.
The Editor-in-Chief is responsible for:
Determining the journal name, scope, publication frequency, and accreditation if required.
Appointing editorial members.
Defining relationships between the publisher, editors, peer reviewers, and other parties.
Respecting confidentiality of authors, reviewers, and contributors.
Upholding intellectual property and copyright regulations.
Communicating journal policies to authors, editors, reviewers, and readers.
Providing ethical guidelines for editors and reviewers.
Ensuring regular publication and financial sustainability.
Promoting journal quality improvement and collaborations.
Editors are responsible for:
Providing objective feedback to help readers understand authors’ work.
Ensuring clarity, accuracy, and adherence to language standards.
Supporting continuous improvement of publication quality.
Maintaining objectivity and freedom of opinion.
Coordinating corrections, clarifications, retractions, or apologies when necessary.
Reviewing and addressing complaints related to the publication process.
Guiding authors to improve manuscripts for publication.
Assisting in finalizing article layout, language, format, and design before publication.
Peer reviewers must:
Provide objective, unbiased written feedback on the scientific value and contribution of articles.
Assess whether manuscripts are clear, complete, relevant, and aligned with the journal’s scope.
Avoid personal criticism.
Maintain confidentiality, not discussing or disclosing information in the manuscript to unauthorized parties.
Authors are required to:
Uphold scientific conduct, understanding the benefits and risks of publication.
Ensure manuscripts are free from misconduct, including fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism (including self-plagiarism).
Properly cite all sources, ideas, and data that are not their own.
Avoid content that could harm or mislead the public.
List only those who contributed significantly as authors.
Avoid duplicate submissions to other journals or publication platforms.
Ensure the article has not been previously published elsewhere.
Confirm that all work is original research, ideas, or analysis.
Complete and submit a signed Author Statement of Scientific Publication Ethics upon manuscript acceptance.
