Policy of Screening for Plagiarism
Journal Teknologi Informasi, Manajerial dan Komunikasi is committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity and publication ethics. To ensure originality and prevent academic misconduct, all submitted manuscripts are screened for plagiarism.
Plagiarism Screening

Every manuscript submitted to the journal will be checked using plagiarism detection software (such as Turnitin or other equivalent tools).

The similarity index must not exceed 25%, excluding references, quotations, and commonly used phrases.

Manuscripts with a similarity index above the acceptable threshold will be returned to the authors for revision or rejected, depending on the severity of the similarity.
Types of Plagiarism
The journal considers the following as unethical practices:

Data fabrication or falsification

Redundant or duplicate publication
Editorial Action

Authors are required to revise manuscripts with moderate similarity levels.

Manuscripts with high similarity or evidence of unethical practices will be rejected without review.

The editorial team reserves the right to conduct plagiarism checks at any stage of the publication process.
Post-Publication Screening
If plagiarism is identified after publication, the journal will take appropriate actions in accordance with COPE guidelines, including correction, retraction, or notification to relevant institutions.
