Publication Ethics

INSIDIA: Innovation and Digital Business Strategy is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and academic integrity. This statement outlines the ethical responsibilities of all parties involved in the publication process, including authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher. The journal follows the principles and best practices recommended by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

1. Ethical Responsibilities of Authors

Authors are expected to:

  • Submit original work that has not been published or submitted elsewhere.

  • Properly acknowledge and cite all sources used in the manuscript.

  • Ensure that all listed authors have made significant contributions to the research.

  • Disclose any potential conflicts of interest.

  • Ensure that research involving human participants or data complies with ethical standards and regulations.

  • Avoid plagiarism, data fabrication, data falsification, and redundant publication.

2. Ethical Responsibilities of Editors

Editors are responsible for:

  • Making publication decisions based on the academic merit, originality, clarity, and relevance of the manuscript.

  • Ensuring a fair, unbiased, and confidential review process.

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and reviewer identities.

  • Addressing ethical issues, including allegations of misconduct, in accordance with COPE guidelines.

  • Avoiding conflicts of interest in editorial decision-making.

3. Ethical Responsibilities of Reviewers

Reviewers are expected to:

  • Conduct reviews objectively, fairly, and constructively.

  • Maintain confidentiality of manuscripts under review.

  • Identify relevant published work that has not been cited by the authors.

  • Declare any conflicts of interest and decline review if necessary.

  • Avoid using information obtained through peer review for personal advantage.

4. Peer Review Process

INSIDIA employs a double-blind peer review process to ensure impartial evaluation of manuscripts. All submissions are reviewed by at least two independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant field.

5. Plagiarism and Misconduct

The journal strictly prohibits plagiarism and unethical research practices. All manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software. Any manuscript found to violate ethical standards will be rejected, and appropriate actions will be taken in accordance with COPE guidelines.

6. Retraction and Correction Policy

In cases of significant errors, ethical violations, or misconduct, the journal reserves the right to publish corrections, retractions, or expressions of concern to maintain the integrity of the scholarly record.

7. Conflicts of Interest

All parties involved in the publication process must disclose any financial, personal, or institutional relationships that could influence their work or decisions.
